When you commit to restore your computer to a selected restore point, Windows restarts the computer and boots your computer to the previously selected state.
Your settings and installed programs will return to the state specified in the resore point.
However, your documents contained in 'My Documents' or 'Documents' folder will remain unchanged.
If you decide that the restored computer is not what you want, you can select another restore point or go back to the original state before you restored.
